Pure Joy!
My previous blog was about LOVE and JOY. I used the analogy of a red beach ball being tossed back and forth to give a visual about keeping LOVE and JOY moving into your life. The Joy must be tossed form you first, and then it returns again:) Sounds so kindergarten.. maybe because I have a kindergartner and I’m used to explaining things to him…. HAHA! We can all learn from this though, unless of course you aren’t on a quest for JOY and LOVE or you have already found it! I have found JOY and my JOY isn’t based on my circumstances or how well my business is doing, how good I look, how many people like me, how much attention I get and so on. JOY is hovering over me, pursuing me, following me at all times is JOY! After I mourn with a friend I return to JOY, after I feel anxiety I return to JOY. What happens if JOY doesn’t exist in your life? Is it selfish to walk in JOY when people around might be struggling or suffering? I have experienced JOY to be a strength not only for myself but for people in my life, so much so that I want everyone to experience JOY. The kind of Joy that never ends. How can you mourn for someone and have JOY? How can you feel stressed and have JOY? How can you have an enemy and feel JOY? HOW? IT’S POSSIBLE!!!!
It’s possible to have JOY and be an aware, alert, intelligent, and rational human being. I have been accused of wearing rose colored glasses. My JOY has definitely annoyed different people before. JOY for me is not based on my circumstances at all. Happiness tends to be based on my circumstances. JOY comes from thankfulness of LIFE and the creator of LIFE. LIFE has an abundant amount of power and strength. Our body and mind have power. I was reading yesterday about a wrist watch that is can be powered by the human body and the energy produced from blood flow and breathing http://www.gizmag.com/go/7731/ What do we do with our power? Every human is different! JOY for me comes from the acknowledgment of LIFE! I receive exuberant amounts of JOY when I allow myself to be thankful for LIFE! You can do this anytime!
Yesterday I was reading a blog about a young man who survived a deadly car crash, two others in the car didn’t survive. The young man who survived and is still in the hospital almost 1 year later from burns over his entire body well his girlfriend was one of the passengers who didn’t survive. As I read through the blog his aunt posted about him.. I cried so much. I tried putting myself in his shoes. I couldn’t do it. I have never suffered like him. Yesterday I had company in town and my six year old was bouncing around laughing building forts.
So much is going on in our world, earthquakes, financial struggles, broken hearts and so much more. How do we feel JOY in these times? It makes no sense. You’re right it makes no sense. It’s called supernatural JOY! It’s unexplainable! JOY hit me after I finished reading about the young man healing in an LA hospital almost 1 a year after his accident. I had a choice to recieve it or reject my JOY invitation. I looked at my little boy and quickly received the JOY that pursues me. Out of my JOY I decided to give it away by praying and speaking out loud healing words to this young man recovering in the hospital. As I did this ALL I COULD FEEL is the LIFE that he has in him and I felt assured he would have a miraculous recovery. When we choose JOY we choose MIRACLES, not just for ourselves but for ALL humanity. I had a JOYFUL day yesterday. It was a beautiful day with my son and family. My JOY wasn’t a bi-product of a perfect life, but a bi-product of a THANKFUL HEART!
PURE JOY is real, and through compassion and thankfullness your JOY will grow, and your cup will overflow!! BE JOYFUL

The Joy of Pure Honesty!
Two years ago I made a vow to myself to be completely honest about the way I feel in all of my relationships. In the past I would hold so much in out of fear of rejection. I was aware that being honest could bring humiliation, rejection and pain into my life. Giving my heart a voice was really scary at first because my heart had a lot to say! It took about one year for my heart to say everything it needed to say to everyone. My heart was full of love! I made sure everyone I love knew that I loved them! I let my heart get creative in the giving department. I gave to the people any way I could, to show them my heart loved them. Sometimes I gave my time just to listen, other times it was facials gift certs, sometimes it was lunch or a compliment I truly felt in my heart. Over the last two years my relationships have become a greater priority in my life because now my heart is invested and involved. Its true I did experience rejection, pain and the feeling of vulnerability. It was in this season that I have healed the most. I have been able to see who loves me too!!
JOY!!!!! The Joy of Pure Honesty! The freedom I have grown into over the last two years is irreplaceable! The confidence and maturity my heart lives in now is precious to me and I guard it because my heart is sacred to me, but rarely do I take away it’s voice. Our hearts are a part of who we are. My life goal is to live from authentic Honest Joy. The deepest joy I have found is in a mature heart that is constantly building its muscle to mirror LOVE from the one who made our hearts.
Having Joy for a day, or a week or a month doesn’t satisfy me. I want to experience Joy through all seasons! True Joy comes through ABUNDANT LOVE! When my heart began to give greater love to more people, my heart began to receive love from more people. My heart learned to love from a distance and love close up! I have learned where I have the greatest return with my love. I have found who appreciates my love the most and I have found who respects my heart!
My HONEST HEART has also given my life and the people in my life a tremendous amount of PURE COMEDY!! A TON of LAUGHTER and a serious dose of REALNESS!!! The best part is that my relationships are deeper and stronger. I feel like no matter what season I enter into in my life I have a true friend who will trust my heart, and in return a friend’s heart whom I can trust.
My goal today is to find someone who is like I was two years ago! If your heart is trapped and needs to speak, give it a voice and through the process you will find JOY that will last a lifetime. Joy is like a ball. Picture a big red beach ball being tossed back and forth. Sometimes it hasn’t been tossed to you yet because you aren’t in the game. I encourage you to get into the game of JOY. Let your friends know you are ready to play by pouring your heart out in love… Toss that ball! When you show love to someone it’s like tossing the ball. Some people are good catchers some aren’t. Some are ready for your toss, and some are afraid of the ball. The ball might drop, the ball might get a little dirty and some people might not even play. Don’t give up though, and you will find your team! The JOY ball will pass back and forth for a lifetime as long as your heart is giving and receiving LOVE.
Blessings
